What Can You Expect from Your First Coaching Session?


Hello everyone and welcome to this short intro video for Brighter Days Wellness Coaching. My name is Arianne Kuykendall. I am a certified life coach through CLCI (Certified Life Coach Institute) and currently working toward a full ICF accredited certification.
So I wanted to outline the benefits of life coaching, and what you can expect from your first session.

Benefits of working with a life coach include:
Increased self-awareness and productivity;
gaining insight into your passions and how to turn those into a reality;
outlining action plans to achieve your goals;
and helping you work through your own solutions to problems you may be encountering in your life.

All of this is done in an environment of non-judgmental and gentle accountability.

So what can you expect from your first life coaching session with me?
First, we will review what you would like to get out of the session,
discuss any goals that you might have,
explore any fears or blocks that might be getting in the way of achieving your goals, create an action plan to achieve those goals,
Assess any conflicting areas in your life that might get in the way,
and lastly, reinforce your plan of action.

One question I wanted to answer was if there was any commitment after the first session?
The short answer is, no. You are in the driver’s seat of your life. This means you can see me for only one session to help you gain clarity over a certain goal or situation, or you can see me for more than one session. It’s all up to you.
